(born August 16, 1933 in Zawadzki) - P olish athlete kulomiot, European Championships medalist and Olymp ian. Twice competed in the Olympics. In Rome (1960) took 6 place, and in Tokyo (1964) was eliminated in the heats. Three times par ticipated in the European Championships. In Stockholm (1958) finished 8th place in Belgrade (1962) won the bronze medal in Budapest (1966) was fourth. Six times he was Polish champion: in 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962 and 1965. Eleven times improved Polish record, which led to the result of 19.24 meters (personal record).
